What is monitoring for banking and finance ?

Is everything really working? Monit24.pl answers this key question before your clients do on social media.
Specific scenarios such as logging in, making a transfer, or filling out an application are replayed in the app as often as every minute. Each one can be tested from up to 150 locations, across different browsers and operating systems, including authorization in the mobile app — all on the production environment. This is how Monit24.pl operates in the banking sector.

Monitorujemy ponad 30 banków w Polsce

Sample scenarios for your sector

Executing transfers (SMS codes, mobile authorization, hardware tokens, certificates)
Monitoring via web and native mobile banking apps (iOS and Android)
Checking payment points – instant transfers and other online payments
Verifying offer forms, calculators, and similar processes
Testing XS2A APIs (PSD2), comparing access channels (web vs API vs mobile)
Monitoring currency exchange platforms with continuous data stream analysis (e.g., exchange rate accuracy)

Problem

A client from the banking sector required verification of three key processes in their web application:
– logging into an account
– making a transfer with mobile app authorization
– logging in via bank authentication as a method of merchant verification

Our solution

Our team granted access to PROD access to fully replicate end-user experience. We also installed and configured mobile banking apps. Processes were monitored every minute from over 40 different locations in Poland, including wireless networks. Scenario replay ensured 100% real-time visibility of the production environment.

Problem

An insurance sector client needed to monitor their ecommerce (online policy sales) and internal operations, where 300 field agents used the mobile app as their primary work tool.

Our solution

WebAppCheck simulated completing the insurance purchase form and correctly sending confirmation to the provided email address.
MobileAppCheck reproduced key processes such as policy registration and error notifications within applications. These services ensured a high SLA and shortened response times in cases of unavailability for both B2C clients and field agents.

Recommended solutions for banking and finance.

WebAppCheck

Verification of critical processes using a browser and mobile app by replaying scenarios. Downloads all page elements, executes JavaScript, and generates HAR charts, screenshots, and video recordings to identify points of failure.

Alerts and escalation paths

Receive notifications via more than 20 methods when a scenario fails. Access recordings and detailed information pinpointing exactly where and when the error occurred, simplifying troubleshooting.

FullPage

Verification of the website by downloading all its elements. Detection of HTTP, DNS, and network errors, as well as page loading issues. Generates HAR charts and page load time metrics.

MailCheck

Verification of email send/receive functionality via the mail server. Ensures the message is delivered to the specified address and detects SMTP and network issues.

Deploy monitoring

Pause reports to confirm that previously identified issues have actually been resolved. The system automatically alerts designated users or groups when a previously detected alert is fixed.
